Weatherscan was an American Cable TV network created by The Weather Channel. Weatherscan featured a 24/7 automated loop of forecast data generated by the cable provider's IntelliStar headend unit. In 2022 Weatherscan was discontinued nationwide, as low ratings, modern solutions (ie. Weather Apps), and competition with other networks forced its closure.
